User Data Deletion

This page explains exactly how to delete your SAIMA account and every piece of data associated with it, including data obtained from connected accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn, X and Snapchat. It also covers how to remove SAIMA's access without deleting your account.

Effective date: 9 August 2026 · Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. Two options: disconnect, or delete everything

Choose the option that matches what you want. Disconnecting stops SAIMA's access to one platform and keeps your SAIMA account. Deleting removes your SAIMA account and all associated data permanently.

  • Disconnect a single accountUse this if you only want SAIMA to stop accessing one platform — for example your Facebook Page — while continuing to use SAIMA. See section 2.
  • Delete your account and all dataUse this to permanently remove your SAIMA account, your content, and all data obtained from every connected platform. See section 3.

2. Option A — Disconnect a connected account

You can remove SAIMA's access to any single platform at any time, from either side. Both routes have the same effect: SAIMA immediately stops reading from and publishing to that account.

  • From SAIMASign in, open Settings, then Integrations. Find the account and choose Disconnect. Its access tokens are invalidated immediately.
  • From Facebook or InstagramGo to Facebook Settings, then Settings & Privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations. Select SAIMA and choose Remove.
  • From Google or YouTubeGo to myaccount.google.com/permissions, select SAIMA, and choose Remove Access.
  • From TikTokOpen TikTok Settings and privacy, then Security & permissions, then Manage app permissions, and remove SAIMA.
  • From LinkedIn, X or SnapchatOpen the connected-apps or authorised-apps section in that platform's security settings and revoke SAIMA's access.

3. Option B — Delete your account and all data

The fastest route is from inside the platform. This deletes your SAIMA account together with all data associated with it, including everything obtained from connected platforms.

  • Sign in to your account at saimahub.ai.
  • Open Settings, then the Account section.
  • Select Delete account.
  • Read the summary of what will be deleted, then confirm.
  • We send a confirmation email to the address on your account. Follow the link in that email to verify the request.
  • Once verified, deletion completes within 30 days and you receive a final confirmation email.

4. Deleting by email

If you cannot sign in — for example you have lost access to your account — send a deletion request by email and we will verify your identity another way.

Send an email to privacy@saimahub.ai from the email address registered to your SAIMA account, with the subject line: Delete my account and data.

Include your account email address, and if you have one, the name of your organisation on the platform. Do not include passwords or payment details.

We acknowledge every request within 5 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days.

5. What gets deleted

A verified deletion request permanently removes all of the following.

  • Your profile: name, email address, password hash, phone number, profile picture and language preference.
  • Registration details: interests, CV or portfolio link, and for company accounts the unified number, company type and size, sector, and contact person details.
  • All access tokens and refresh tokens for every connected social, advertising and commerce account. These are invalidated first, before anything else is removed.
  • All content you created or uploaded: text, images, video, audio, and uploaded files in media storage.
  • Brand identities, product catalogues and store connections.
  • Scheduled and published post records, approval history and publishing results.
  • Campaign settings and the analytics data retrieved from your connected advertising accounts.
  • AI credit balance and usage transaction history.
  • Active sessions and device records, and login attempt history.
  • Developer account data where applicable: applications, API client identifiers, hashed API keys, permission grants and request logs.
  • Affiliate account data where applicable: referral code, referral records and commission ledger entries.

6. What we must retain, and why

A small amount of data survives deletion because law requires it or because removing it would harm others. It is never used to re-identify you for marketing.

  • Financial recordsInvoices and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Security recordsLimited abuse and fraud-prevention logs are retained for a short period to protect the platform and its users.
  • Encrypted backupsData may remain in encrypted backups briefly after deletion and is removed as those backups age out on their normal rotation cycle.
  • Content already publishedPosts already published to an external platform live on that platform, not on SAIMA. Deleting your SAIMA account does not remove them — you must delete them from that platform directly.

7. Timeline

  • ImmediatelyAll connected-account tokens are invalidated and SAIMA loses access to those accounts.
  • Within 5 business daysWe acknowledge your request and confirm verification.
  • Within 30 daysDeletion completes and you receive a final confirmation email.

8. Important before you delete

  • Deletion is permanent. Deleted data cannot be recovered by you or by us.
  • Export anything you want to keep before you confirm.
  • If you own an organisation with team members, deleting it removes access for everyone in it.
  • Cancel any active subscription first. Deletion does not automatically refund fees already paid.
  • Posts already published to external platforms remain there — delete them on each platform directly.
